TMZ broke the story … members of the cast went on strike yesterday, refusing to shoot over the weekend for Season 3.

Sources connected with 495 Productions tell TMZ the cast is ultimately hurting the show.  As one source put it, “The show is not about famous rich people with managers coming to the Shore.”

495 would like to keep a few of the cast members — notably The Situation, Snooki and Pauly D — but they think the strike by the cast is the last straw.

We’re told the cast feels like they’ve been tricked, because they felt their contract — which gives each of them $10,000 an episode — was only supposed to cover Season 2 in Miami. They feel they’re being screwed now that producers want them to go to the Shore and shoot another installment under the existing deal.

As we first reported, The Situation is being tempted with a sweet new contract and we’re told it’s pissed off some of the other cast as well as the crew.

Here’s the rub … Sources say MTV thinks they have “magic in a bottle” with this group and wants to keep the cast intact.

A rep for MTV had no comment.

Oksana Grigorieva and Mel Gibson

It is the evidence that could be used to bring criminal charges against Oscar-winner Mel Gibson.

In a blockbuster world exclusive radaronline.com has exclusively obtained a disturbing picture of Oksana Grigorieva taken just hours after she claims Gibson punched her in the face. The photograph is part of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department investigation into the actor for domestic violence. It’s also included in Oksana’s declaration to the court in the estranged couple’s vicious custody battle over their eight-month-old daughter Lucia.

The image shows the damage to the Russian-born musician’s front teeth after the couple’s brutal blowout at Mel’s Malibu mansion on January 6.

Oksana has told police that Mel punched her in the face while she held their infant daughter Lucia and that the force of his blows broke her teeth and left her with a concussion. The damage left Oksana in need of urgent medical assistance, she told police probing the case. This evidence was obtained after Gibson’s camp issued a carefully worded denial that she had suffered the injuries.

Mel’s representatives insisted Oksana has provided zero evidence to support her claim that Mel caused damage. “Not true… her teeth are in her mouth according to our information,” one of Mel’s laywers stated, last month.

But Mel admitted to hitting Oksana in an audio recording of a telephone conversation in which the enraged actor says: “you f**king deserved it” after she protested that the Braveheart star hit her and broke her teeth. The dentist who repaired the teeth, Dr. Ross Shelden, also took photos of Oksana’s mouth and turned them over to her lawyers. In his declaration, Sheldon said he saw evidence of “blunt force trauma” as well as physical damage.

The allegations of violence have been backed up with outrageous audio recordings, obtained and released, in which Mel threatens Oksana with physical harm.

In one of the taped conversations, an out-of-control Mel is heard yelling: “You need a f **king bat in the side of the head”. Other audio released has included Mel spewing vile, racist remarks and telling Oksana that she will be raped by a “pack of n***ers”.

In the latest recording released, Mel is heard yelling and demanding sex and threatening to burn the house down.

“I deserve to be bl*wn  first, before the f**king jacuzzi”, Mel tells Oksana, as he heaves loudly over the phone, later adding: “OK, I’ll burn the goddamn house down but bl*w me first! How dare you?”

Oksana is also claiming that the baby — who was two months old at the time of the alleged incident — was hit when Gibson lunged for her. There are also photographs of the baby with a bruise on her face.

Oksana also told investigators that Mel, 54, waved a gun in her face after she was beaten by him and tried to get away.

We don’t mean finally as in we’re glad Lindsay Lohan’s finally going to jail. We mean finally as in we’re glad we’re finally being set free.

Do you know how long it’s been since the onetime teen queen of Hollywood has been making headlines for being dehydrated, or being arrested, or being sued, or being on probation, or for doing all those things all over again?

Nearly six long years.

We don’t know if jail will be the just the thing for Lohan to become who she said she was at Monday’s court hearing. We don’t know if it’ll be just the thing to push her toward a Robert Downey Jr. moment of redemption.

All we know is that the Lohan franchise, like the Batman one once, is in serious want of a reboot.

And remember, it wasn’t the Caped Crusader who needed Christopher Nolan—it was us, the audience. We needed to be rescued from camp and codpieces. As for Batman? He was a character—he got to be Batman whether he was in a great movie or a bad movie.

In the same way, it’s we who need Lohan’s jail term—to be delivered from missing passports and SCRAM bracelets, to perhaps get back the actress of The Parent Trap, Freaky Friday and Mean Girls.

As for Lohan? She’s a star—she gets to be Lindsay Lohan no matter what.

Elin Nordegren will walk away from her marriage with Tiger Woods with approximately $100 million.

As one source with direct knowledge of the terms of the divorce tells TMZ, “She’ll be getting close to $100,000,000.” There have been reports Elin would score $750 million, but we have confirmed that figure is wrong.  Indeed, as we first reported, Tiger is not even worth $750 million. We’re told his net worth is somewhere between $500 and $600 million.

The $100 million is way more than Elin would have received under the prenup. Sources say Elin will receive child support, but we do not know the specific amount.

As for the $100 million figure… this is not speculation… it comes from sources with direct knowledge of the property settlement agreement.

To put this in some perspective, Elin will be getting 10 times what Rachel Uchitel scored from Tiger.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson‘s Eclipse characters, Bella and Edward, essentially have three or so movies of virginal eternal longing for each other; they never quite go all the way (except in Breaking Dawn, which Melissa Rosenberg swears she’s penning as quite sexy… but more on that later).

When we talked to the stars of Eclipse at last night’s premiere at the L.A. Film Festival, we threw it out there to the cast: do you think the longing and self-control the main characters exhibit when it comes to sex is something high-schoolers can actually relate to these days? Here’s what Rob, Kristen, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz had to say…

“Oh my god, definitely,” Stewart told us on the carpet with the stern-yet-sweet look she exhibits so well. “I feel like everything in our movie—the reason people love it so much—is because it’s everything that we experience. It’s like put on this… I don’t want to say ideological… It’s just put on this level that it is fantasy love. You feel like when you’re in love it’s fake almost. I feel like that’s how everyone feels.”

Spoken like a girl who has been truly smitten before! Speaking of, Rob, in his über-cool, maroon Gucci suit, added that he has no clue if holding out for something great is in touch with teens today, but it’s what he is used to.

“I hope so,” Pattinson dished about whether Edward’s self-control is relatable to guys his age.

“I don’t know, I didn’t really go to a normal high school,” R.Pattz ‘fessed. He added, “I went to a very romantic high school.”

So that’s where he learned his suave tricks!

Ash and Kellan chimed in on the matter, too.

“I think that’s the positive impact and positive message our film has: to teach girls there are guys that will wait for you, and there are guys that will respect you,” the lovely Ms. Ashley said about how realistic the love story is. “And for guys, you know, that they don’t have to settle for some girl that doesn’t have it all. I think it’s really nice that both Bella and Edward have found the complete package in each other and they are still willing to wait for each other.”

“You know what, I think it’s coming back,” Kellan, unfortunately in a suit and not just his Calvin Klein’s, told us about teens holding out.

“I have a sister who is here, Brittany Lutz, and it’s really cool that she’s reading these books, and her friends are reading these books. The world has gone kind of corrupt. I remember from my day, I had twin brothers in high school – all those drugs are around, what are kids doing these days, and other things, sexual experiences. In reading these books, my sisters really stay true to themselves and their feelings and don’t just go off of lust, but love, and holding out. It’s really cool.”
